Obviously, this is a Barcelona vs Juventus thing, a Koeman vs Pirlo thing and a Messi vs Ronaldo thing.

Barcelona vs Juventus

In the group, it is obvious that the two will advance to the round of 16 but the thrilling part is who is coming out on top? Barcelona have young great talents in the team. Ansu, De Jong, Dest, Trincao, Pedri and so on who wants to win everything. They also have experienced great players. Messi, Griezman, Alba, Busquets, Pique, Pjanic and so on. Juventus on the hand also have young great players like Dybala, Kuluveski, Arthur, De ligt, and experienced players like Ronaldo, Bonucci, Chielleni, Ramsey and so on. The two clubs are giants in their leagues and it has always been entertaining to watch them in the past. This year will be no difference.

Koeman vs Pirlo

The two coaches are legends as players in the club they are managing. Koeman scored a decisive goal in the final that gave Barcelona their first European title won via a brilliant explosive free kick. Pirlo made 164 match appearances for Juventus. Considered to be one of the greatest deep-lying playmakers of all time, Pirlo was renowned for his vision, ball control, technique, creativity, passing, and free-kick ability. The both of them have things in common.

• Being players in the current clubs they are managing.
• Have the responsibilities of managing the top clubs in the league.
• Brought in after the former coaches were sacked.
• Expected to win trophies and dominate.
• In the same group in the champions league.

Some football fans had lost hope that there won’t be a Messi Ronaldo match again but alas here it is. The first leg will be played on the 28th of October and I can’t wait. Messi and Ronaldo have played against each other five times in the Champions League, twice while Ronaldo was playing for Manchester United and three more times when he was a Real Madrid player. The last time the two met in the Champions League was in the 2010-11 season.
