The Nigeria Senate has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to dismiss the country’s service chiefs for allegedly failing in their responsibility to keep the country safe from Boko Haram terrorists and banditry.

At Tuesday’s plenary of the senate, the lawmakers bemoaned the beheading of over 40 rice farmers at Zabarmari village in Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.

The upper legislative chamber suggested that the service chiefs had ran out of ideas to combat terrorism in the country and hence should be asked to go.
