The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has declared a profit of ₦4.571 trillion for the month of June 2025, with ₦905 billion recorded as profit after tax.

This was disclosed in the company’s June financial report, which also showed that ₦6.961 trillion had been paid in statutory remittances between January and May 2025.

The report highlighted a total crude oil and condensate production of 1.68 million barrels per day during the same period. The company attributed the improved performance to ongoing industry-wide collaborations focused on production enhancement and cost optimisation.

Major Project Milestones

NNPC Ltd. also reported significant progress on the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Project, stating that the project is now 83% completed. “The successful crossing of the River Niger by the pipeline has significantly de-risked the completion of the mainline,” the company stated.

In addition, the corporation has initiated technical reviews of the OB3 River Niger Crossing, applying insights gained from the AKK project to fast-track delivery.
