Endowed Nollywood actress, Abiodun Sofuyi Okeowo, who is also called Omo Burty, a name she acquired from a movie she acted in years ago joined the movie industry in 2006 after her Industrial Training in Lagos Television (LTV) in Agidingbi.
The actress is believed to be a lady with many scandals and controversies.
Some of her colleagues, behind her back, even refer to her as the Queen of Scandal in the Yoruba film genre of Nollywood according to reports.
The actress has two grown-up children but she is not married. She claimed in an interview that she was never married legally.
She was with her ex for some years but it was alleged that her secret romance with another actor, Kunle Adegbite whom she played love roles in movies was the reason for their separation.
It was alleged that her ex sent her out of their home about 5 years ago and since then, she has kept quiet on what crashed her marriage. Some fans and colleagues are not even aware that Biodun was previously married as she denied ever being married.
According to reports, ever since Biodun was sent away by her then hubby, she has moved into another apartment with her children.
It was reported that she hurriedly released a statement as a cover-up when the story of her affair with Kunle almost crashed her career.
The statement reads:
“I am not having an affair with Kunle Adegbite, but the truth is that he is a great friend and a brother. I will not deny the fact that we are quite close but nothing too special and whatever anybody says or does will not stop me from being his close friend. He is special”
The actress was allegedly sent packing by her children’s father after he suspected her of infidelity. It was also reported that she was allegedly caught by her ex-husband on several occasions and when the man wasn’t feeling comfortable with her love for `joysticks’, he had no choice than to send her out of their matrimonial home.
And ever since then, it was alleged that the s3xy actress has not stopped. Her reported romance with believed actor, Kunle Adegbite is only one of her alleged s3xcapades.
The Nollywood actress revealed that she cried when she found out her ex-husband married someone else. In a recent interview with The Sun, she opened up on dealing with the end of her previous relationship.
She said:
“I don’t regret leaving my ex. In fact, I don’t feel anything for him anymore. No pains, no regrets. He tried to get me back but I just couldn’t continue with him.” “The only day I felt bad and cried was the day I heard he has remarried. That he actually paid someone else’s bride price made me cry. In my case, my family members were begging him to come and pay.”
