Veteran broadcaster Frank Edoho has publicly addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his failed marriage, alleging that his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, had a prolonged affair with singer Chike.
The claims were made in a leaked voice note conversation between Edoho and media personality Titilope Faith, which surfaced online and quickly went viral across social media platforms.
In the audio, Edoho claimed the alleged affair began around December 2022 and continued into January 2025 despite repeated efforts to save his marriage.
“That news that came out is very, very, very true,” Edoho said.
He alleged that he personally confronted Chike over the relationship after discovering recordings and conversations involving the singer and his wife.
“I approached that stupid boy. I saw him one day he was shaking like a leaf and I told him, ‘Do you know who I am?’ He said yes,” Edoho stated.
“So what the hell are you doing with my wife?”
According to him, Chike was already in a serious relationship with another woman identified as Precious at the time.
Edoho further claimed he warned the singer to stay away from his wife for the sake of his children and marriage.
“I told that guy, I said, I have two boys from this woman and I want to raise them. Leave this woman alone. Maybe she will come to her senses,” he said.
The broadcaster also alleged that despite confronting both parties and obtaining what he described as evidence, the relationship allegedly continued.
“I have evidence to burn two of them on a stake. I have like six recordings. I have a text message the idiot sent to me apologizing after that day I met him. But they still went back at it,” he claimed.
Edoho alleged that he made several attempts to save the marriage, including temporarily leaving his home for three months and seeking spiritual intervention.
“I tried everything to stop this woman. I tried that malice, it didn’t work. I tried leaving the house for three months, it didn’t work. I cried, it didn’t work,” he said.
He further claimed that their spiritual adviser pleaded with them to reconcile.
“Our spiritual mother knelt down in front of us and said stop this. Because she wants to die with Chike, so I said okay, I left,” he stated.
The media personality also spoke about the collapse of the marriage and the legal battle that followed, alleging that evidence of the affair was eventually presented in court during divorce proceedings.
According to him, he decided to speak publicly because he was tired of what he described as false narratives and online attacks directed at him.
“So tomorrow, I’m going to release an audio. Tomorrow is going to be a long day for some people because I’m tired of being abused falsely,” he said.
The controversy has continued to generate heated reactions online, with social media users divided over the allegations and the public fallout involving the former couple and the singer.
