According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian media personality Kikelomo Abati has spoken candidly about her past marriages, revealing that she had been divorced twice before settling into her current marriage with veteran journalist Reuben Abati.
Mrs. Abati made the disclosure during a recent appearance on The Morayo Show, where she reflected on the challenges that shaped her earlier relationships. She said her first marriage ended after she discovered that her husband was gay, a fact she claimed she was unaware of at the time they got married.
She further explained that her second marriage was also troubled, describing it as being marked by repeated infidelity and abusive behaviour, which eventually led to its breakdown.
Despite the emotional strain of the experiences, Mrs. Abati said she has no regrets. She noted that the relationships, though difficult, brought meaningful blessings into her life, particularly her children, whom she described as her greatest gifts.
She added that the lessons from her failed marriages contributed significantly to her personal growth and prepared her for the stability and happiness she now enjoys, describing her journey as painful but ultimately fulfilling.
