Serenity Royale Hospital has disowned a viral report claiming that Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mrs. Regina Daniels, underwent a “mid-term home detox” under its supervision.
In a disclaimer issued on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and signed by its management, the hospital described the circulating document as fake, unauthorized, and not representative of any record released by the facility.
“Our attention has been drawn to a post (on an alleged mid-term home detox report) being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Mrs. Nwoko Regina,” the statement said. “We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post containing classified information did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”
The hospital reaffirmed its commitment to medical confidentiality and professional ethics, while warning against the spread of fabricated documents purporting to originate from its system.
The disclaimer comes amid an escalating online feud involving Regina’s elder brother, who has accused Ned Nwoko of allegedly sponsoring fake documents — including a falsified medical report, marriage certificate, and voter’s card — reportedly linked to the actress.
In a strongly worded social media post, Sweezzy alleged that the voter’s card being circulated was produced “in Ned Nwoko’s sitting room at Ugboko,” insisting that Regina’s authentic documents bear her maiden name, Ojeogwu. He further claimed that Regina never participated in any formal marriage registry ceremony with Nwoko.
The commentator also accused the politician of emotionally manipulating the actress with claims of ill health, alleging incidents of abuse within the home. He dismissed rumours associating him or any of his siblings with cocaine use, calling the allegation “ridiculously outrageous.”
Challenging Nwoko directly, he wrote: “Quick question for Mr. Ned Nwoko—what samples were given to the hospital and how were they collected? Or is this your result?”
The controversy has generated widespread reactions on social media, with many urging restraint and calling on authorities to investigate the origin of the alleged documents.
As reactions continue to pour in, Serenity Royale Hospital has advised the public to rely only on verified information and avoid sharing unconfirmed reports.
