Popular Nigerian singer, Chimamanda Chukwuma, widely known as Qing Madi, has shocked young TikTok sensation, Dolapo Ezieke, with cash and various gift items.
Dolapo, who is the breakout star of the viral “Come Slide” dance challenge, received the unexpected windfall after her classroom performance caught the attention of the music star weeks ago.
The heartwarming surprise was shared by the singer on her Instagram Story on Friday, generating massive reactions from fans across social media platforms.
The young schoolgirl originally shot to prominence through videos posted online by her class teacher, Imikan Inyang.
Inyang, popularly known online as Backhat Dude, is an Accounting graduate from the University of Uyo, who is currently undergoing his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Ekiti State.
What started as simple, fun classroom videos featuring the corps member and his primary school pupils has quickly evolved into one of the most followed wholesome content series on Nigerian TikTok.
Among the numerous online trends the classroom joined was Qing Madi’s hit track “Come Slide”, where Dolapo’s uniquely expressive performance stole the show.
The dance video became an instant hit, prompting a humorous reaction from Qing Madi at the time, who joked, “Make una beg Dolapo to give me my song back.”
Since the video went viral, Dolapo has become the face of the classroom group, winning the hearts of netizens with her undeniable confidence and vibrant personality.
Her personal TikTok account, which is currently managed by her mother, has already garnered nearly 50,000 followers as fans continue to follow her journey outside the school walls.
In the newly released video capturing their meeting, the singer can be seen presenting Dolapo with a Frozen-themed school backpack, various toys, and a mysterious red gift box.
When the excited little girl tried to express her gratitude, Qing Madi gently cut her off.
“Don’t say thank you yet. Don’t say thank you yet… This is yours. You don’t have to say thank you,” the singer said.
The “Ole” crooner then playfully asked Dolapo to choose between the numerous items before unveiling the final surprise.
Visibly overwhelmed by the presentation, the little girl repeatedly screamed, “No… No… No… I want both,” sparking laughter from everyone present during the lively interaction.
The climax of the visit came when the red box was finally opened, revealing multiple bundles of Nigerian Naira notes stacked in ₦500 denominations.
