Popular television presenter and media personality, Frank Edoho, has stated that he has no intention of ever entering into another romantic relationship or getting married again, describing his current single status as a “superpower.”
The former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host made this known on his verified X handle while responding to a social media user who commented on his decision to decline giving marital advice to newly wedded content creators, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth, also called Jarvis.
The online interaction started after Edoho publicly opted out of offering marital advice to the newlywed creators, explaining that he knew “nothing about marriage” and would rather offer prayers for their home.
Reacting to Edoho’s position, an X user with the handle #JJ27581708 wrote, “#frankedoho is being sincere.
He knows a lot about marriage and knows many ways it can fail. However, knowing the psychology of Nigerians, he knows his advice will be marred, in their eyes, by his marital setbacks. Hopefully, Frank will find a woman who will show him true love.”
Responding to the user’s commentary, the veteran broadcaster concurred with the observation about public perceptions of his past relationships, but firmly dismissed the idea of looking for love again.
“How wise of you. You are absolutely right about everything but that last part,” Edoho replied.
He further declared, “There’s a superpower that comes with being alone, and it’s beautiful. I’m definitely not finding any woman. Not ever.”
Edoho’s firm stance against remarriage comes following sustained public attention surrounding his personal life and past marital experiences.
His first marriage to broadcaster Katherine Obiang ended in separation, while his subsequent marriage to Sandra Onyenucheya also collapsed in a widely publicised separation.
The media personality recently reflected on the fallout from his previous relationships, expressing the emotional impact of those experiences and stating that he never wants a woman to be the cause of his death.
