The son of British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has spoken publicly about his father’s death, alleging that he was killed and accusing his stepmother of withholding information about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Ubiribo died in March while he was in Thailand with his wife. Months after his death, his son has questioned the account surrounding the circumstances of the businessman’s passing, insisting that he believes his father was killed.
According to the bereaved son, attempts to explain his father’s death as being connected to a cosmetic procedure do not, in his view, adequately account for the injuries he claims were sustained.
“My dad was killed in March and I say killed because, although they are trying to pass this narrative that he needed to do his dick bigger but trust me, we are good in that department.”
He further questioned the explanation surrounding the alleged procedure, saying, “But that’s not what happened. I am pretty sure a cock elongation or whatever they call is doesn’t cause you to have a missing eyeball or a gigantic fore-head but maybe the medical field has changed since.”
Reflecting on the events following his father’s death, he said the year had been particularly difficult for the family, while accusing his father’s wife of being involved in what he described as a false narrative about the death.
“This year has been crazy. From my dad being k+lled to the person that is somewhat been involved in the murder and pass false narrative and also discredit everything he’s ever done in his life.”
The son also alleged that the family was not adequately informed about what happened in Thailand, claiming that his father’s wife failed to provide them with details surrounding his death.
He said, “My dad died in March and he was killed, we as a family lacked complete clarity of anything that happened because it happened on Thai land and his wife, she didn’t provide clarity on any single thing that happened and left us in the dark. So we got to find out about all of this same time you all did.”
He further alleged that his inheritance had been taken by his stepmother, claiming that several of his late father’s properties were no longer accounted for.
“I had my inheritance stolen by his wife and it’s just crazy how many properties just gone with wings.”
The bereaved son later paid tribute to his father, as he continued to mourn his death and reflect on the events that have followed.
