Three men have been arrested in Algeria after allegedly attempting to enter Spain in a failed disguise scheme that has since generated widespread reactions online.
According to reports, the suspects tried to cross the border illegally by hiding inside a truck transporting livestock. In an apparent effort to evade detection, they allegedly wore sheep costumes and attempted to blend in with the animals on board.
The plan reportedly unraveled during a routine inspection by border officials, who noticed unusual behaviour among some of the “sheep.”
Authorities observed that a few of the animals appeared to be moving unnaturally, with some reportedly walking upright on two legs and displaying visible human features.
Alarmed by the suspicious movements, officers conducted a closer examination and discovered that three of the sheep were, in fact, men in disguise. They were immediately removed from the truck and taken into custody.
The suspects are now facing charges related to immigration fraud. Reports indicate they could also face additional allegations, including animal cruelty, after allegedly stepping on and disturbing the livestock while attempting to conceal themselves.

Authorities have not yet released further details about the identities of the men or the specific penalties they may face.
