President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed former Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, as the South-South Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a nationwide structure designed to drive the President’s vision and political engagement across the country.
The appointment was announced during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees for all six geopolitical zones. The ceremony was chaired by the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, who represented President Tinubu.
According to the announcement, Okowa will oversee the South-South region, while other prominent political leaders were also appointed to coordinate their respective zones. They include:
- H.E. Isah Yuguda – North-East
- Aminu Bello Masari – North-West
- Anyim Pius Anyim – South-East
- Oladipupo Oyinbande – South-West
- H.E. Tanko Al-Makura – North-Central
The Renewed Hope Initiative is expected to strengthen political structures, deepen outreach programmes, and advance the administration’s development agenda nationwide.
