Popular social media personality and self-proclaimed relationship expert, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been arraigned before the Lagos State Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja over an alleged N69.15 million fraud.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), through its Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, brought a two-count charge against the influencer, accusing her of obtaining money by false pretence and unlawfully converting funds amounting to N69,150,000.

The matter came up on Tuesday before Justice R.A. Oshodi, where the prosecution, led by C.C. Okezie, informed the court that the defendant had been duly served with the charge and urged the court to proceed with the arraignment.

However, counsel to the defendant, Nkama Nneka, contested the prosecution’s position, arguing that the service of the charge had only recently been effected.

After listening to submissions from both parties, Justice Oshodi ruled that the arraignment should proceed in accordance with the law.

The charges were subsequently read to Blessing CEO, formally initiating legal proceedings in the case.

The development marks another chapter in the legal troubles confronting the controversial influencer, whose social media activities and public commentary on relationships have often generated widespread attention and debate.
